In March 2022, Our Project Co Developments Ltd. was set up by Amy Reece. Matt Drake joined in March 2023 and together now deliver projects for private clients and developers. 

Refurbishment projects of any size can be daunting and demanding so our role is to simplify this process for you and allow you to enjoy the process. 

The focus for the team is simple, treat every project as if it were our own. We put our attention towards your priorities for the build. We define your brief at the beginning but we understand that life changes and sometimes the priorities need to evolve. We work with you every step of the way to guide your decisions.

Meet The Team

amy reece

Amy has over 10 years experience managing major refurbishment projects for private clients and developers, and for 5 years headed the Project & Development Management team at Kitesgrove Design Ltd in London.

Her role is to be involved at every stage during a project to lead the project strategy, delivery and timeframe. Amy has an extensive network of consultants and contractors which are carefully selected to suit the project needs and client design preferences. 

matthew drake

Matt has a experience in real estate in both a residential and commercial environment. He has worked within a Global Real Estate Team for a leading FTSE100 company for the majority of his career, engaging on a number of high budget office refurbishment projects.

Matt works closely on every OurProjectCo appointment alongside Amy, providing you with double the resources for your project and helping you obtain your dream home.

Our process

At the initial stages of discussion, I would take a brief and prepare a proposal based on my understanding of the project requirements. This includes the scope of the works, the level of support, the budget and timeframe.

The deliverables put forward in the proposal are always tailored to the needs of the client.There is no charge for this as it is important that both ourselves, as the Project Manager, and yourself, as the Client, are on the same page with regard to project delivery. 

  • Prepare the project programme (and monitor throughout the project delivery).
  • Appoint and oversee site surveys (if required at this stage – for example coordinating structural feasibility).
  • Advise on the appointment of the consultant team, establish scope of services for each consultant, and collate fee proposals.
  • Manage consultant team and all third parties.
  • Manage and oversee the design process, including determining timeframes and priorities, organising and managing meetings as required, and coordinating flow of information.
  • Manage and oversee third parties involved with the consents required, such as Licence to Alter Approvals, Building Control, Party Wall, CDM.
  • Collation of tender pack and pricing documentation.
  • Oversee tender submission to two contractors.
  • Analysis of two tender returns.
  • Advise on the appointment of the Main Contractor.
  • Preparation and monitoring of Request for Information Schedule.
  • Coordination of design information required for main contractor, coordination of responses to site queries, and client instructions throughout the construction phase.
  • Bi-weekly site meetings with contractor and consultant team and preparation of site meeting minutes.
  • Programme monitoring – analyse the main contractor’s programme, advise on areas of risk, monitor progress and advise on ongoing programme requirements, such as timeframes for ordering of materials.
  • Preparation of snagging lists and oversee the snagging progress.
  • Collation of O&M (operation & maintenance) manuals.

Throughout the project I provide progress reports and cost projections where necessary. I can adapt reporting and progress meetings to work best with how involved the clients wish to be. I have experience working closely alongside clients at each stage and also experience managing projects for clients based overseas.

Our contract administration service includes the drafting and executing of appropriate contracts, as well as managing the deliverables and outcomes contained therein with your contractors.

We can offer consultancy work to your project if you need assistance with any aspect of your construction, and indeed at any stage of the process.
